The stock r spoiler was taken off, and now i would like to put it back on. I do not have the original, but friend has a replica itr spoiler he would like to sell me. My question is whether a replica is identical to the stock one, and would it be better just to get a new one, but acura does charge alot for those.

 

my sympathy goes out! my stock ITR spoiler was stolen too. I have a $120 Nopi "TYPE-R" one on there now. It's somewhat identical...except the red LED in the center, and no little slits on the sides. However, considering that Acura wants $768 for the original, I think $120 is worth the price. However, i've been hunting down an original Type-R spoiler myself...nothing compares to the original, although it doesn't do anything performance wise.
