I got the Tanabe Super Mad. and I like it. It's loud and deep. (I have no cat with the Spoon header) once you put the silencer in you can't hear it at all. I droped .1 at the track.

WHY CHANGE YOUR EXHAUST? IT IS ALREADY 2.25IN MANDREL BENT PIPING, AND IF YOU PLAN ON STAYING ALL MOTOR, WHICH YOU SHOULD, IT IS A PERFECT SIZE. IF YOU WANT A NICER LOOKING MUFFLER GET A UNIVERSAL ONE. I RIDE WITH A JUN TITANIUM MUFFLER, IT LOOKS BAD ASS AND SOUNDS BETTER THAN ANY SYSTEM YOU CAN BUY, SURE IT COSTS THE SAME AS A FULL SUSTEM BUT IT IS WELL WORTH IT. HKS AND APEXi ALSO MAKE DESIEL UNIVERSAL MUFFLERS.

Spoon Street Axle Back: Quiet but a little bit louder than stock. Very little if any powergains. Meant for those that want something just for a little sound.
Spoon N1 Axle Back: Lightweight. Straight through design. Loud everywhere throughout the rpm. Not ideal for a daily driver. High RPM gains.

I've heard nothing but good things about Skunk2's complete catback systems, but i wanted to get some feedback/info from a few gearheads before i shell out a bunch of money. Any word about style, sound, or performance (for the '97 ITR)
