Default suspension ?

hey guys

i have a 98 4dr integ and i was thinking about getting a skunk2 sway bar. my current set up is skunk2 coilovers(for a civic), kyb agxs. my question is would the spring rates on the civic skunk2 coilovers be too soft for the skunk2 sway bar bc i heard that u need some good shocks and hard springs to go with the skunk2 sway bar.....would my current set up be good for the skunk2 sway bar?

thanks i know its kinda long..

The skunk2 sway bar is no thicker or stiffer than the ITR sway bar. The ITR most likely has softer springs than whatever the skunk2 coilovers have, even if they are a Civic application.

21 mm, but that's not the only thing that determines how stiff it is. Sway bars can be constructed out of various materials, be solid, tubular, etc. But yeah it's pretty much equivalent to an ITR rear sway bar.

i highly recommend the BeaksProducts quick swap kit, but the installation is best left to the experienced. it comes with all the parts u need, including the honda oem 22mm rear sway bar.

If you wanna go the safest and most stable route, I'd suggest dropping the extra cash for the Comptech rear tie/sway bar combo. Gives you a fairly nice, adjustable sway bar and a really nice sub-frame reinforcement in the form of a rear lower tie bar. Top notch construction.

There's no skunk2 "kit." It's a whole sway bar, not a mounting kit for an ITR bar.

Anyway the best option out there is the Comptech sway bar and tie bar combo. The tie bar mounts to the subframe and the sway bar mounts to the tie bar. That gives the sturdiest mount possible and it is actually a required part for certain classes of SCCA Showroom Stock road racing.
