Default Question about stock stereo

I have a question about the stock CD player in an '01 Integra. It the single disk CD player and I want to know if there is any auxilary inputs in the back of the unit that I can tap a wire into. I have an Apple iPod that I want to be able to connect to the CD player through an auxilary input. Anyone know? I really don't want to buy an aftermarket CD player with a built in AUX input if i can avoid doing so.

Umm... I remember hearing something about a Honda aux input device, bit I don't think it works with our cars. Get an iRock for a while, then buy a new headunit would be my advice

I've been using an FM Modulator for some time now but problem is that I live in a heavily populated area and virtually all the radio frequencies are filled up. Sound quality isn't as good as I had expected.

I know a new head unit would probably be the easiest way to solve this but I can't justify buying a whole new unit just for an AUX input for my iPod.

New headunit...get an adaptor to turn the changer input into an RCA Aux. The FM mod (especially those wireless ones) are not so great.

Yeah you can get an adapter that converts the changer plug into an RCA input. Then you just need one of those little miniplug-to-RCA adapters that you can find at any Radio Shack.

For example:

http://www.installer.com/acc/honaux.html

The thing is, you can get an entire headunit with an Aux input for not much more.

Etcetera etcetera.
