They are different length, they are also designed differently (one's flat on top, one's not). I'm not sure if the spring hat from the rear will fit a front spring, nor am I sure if the front spring hat would fit in the rear chassis where it mounts.

It would be an interesting thing to check tho. I have ITR springs on my GS-R and am too lazy to take em off to see tho hehe

I've never heard of anybody trying that and, as Dave said, the front and rear springs have different seating designs.

Straight ratio springs for a del Sol are really, pretty cheap. :P

True but I am just trying to be real cheap! hehe I might those Type R springs for 75 bucks. You guys say the top of the springs are differnt from front to rear, does that mean I would need Type-R top hats or could I use my stock ones on the car.

I used my stock one and considering that the G3 teg and 5th gen civic platforms are pretty similiar I'd guess your stock ones would work, however, I've never installed them on a 5th gen before.

If your stock spring rates are similar to a standard EG's, it will not lower your car. In fact, you'll go up about .25" or so, by my estimate.

With GSR springs on my Civic I'm ~2" higher than stock.

The spring lengths are exactly the same, but that doesn't mean you'll ride at the proper height.

Well that depends, del sol's are heavier than hatchbacks for example, about the same as an ITR.. the weight will play a factor. It might still be as high or higher though.
