Clifford Matrix 2.5 is good. You can always add on a variety of DEI products too if you choose.

Also, look into the Clifford BlackJax as an add-on (not quite an add-on, but separate from your alarm). Layer your security, that is the key.

Very true.

Speaking of which, Jay, I need to get my car out of valet mode. I haven't been able to figure it out.

I have a clifford IQ-8000 (I think, forget exactly) and it's a nice piece. I have had a brain fail but it was replaced for free. I've also had the tilt sensor mount break but I just made a new one..

other than that, it's a nice alarm that when set properly doesn't false too much..

IMO the best alarm.. don't wash your car

what alarm do you have? one with a plain sight valet switch or a "hidden" toggle? Most clifford alarms you can get out of valet by hitting shift-button 4 or shift-shift button 4.. well I think it's button 4 I haven't looked at my clifford crap for a LONG time.

I have a DEI alarm... Python, not a cleeeford.

Mine is stuck in valet, the 'switch' alone doesnt' work, and I dont have the manual for some odd reason. And Jay is my alarm/stereo bish, so I bug him.

I run a Clifford Solaris w/ wireless fuel pump cut off, immobilizer(since I don't have one stock) and wireless siren. Works great and takes very little to get used to.

I'll take a look at your alarm soon, sometime bwt. now and this weekend I imagine.

As a correction to my above post...Clifford Matrix 2.5x, not just 2.5. I forgot about that part. It's a good alarm w/the a 2-way remote.

I guess you've figgered out by now that Clifford's well regarded.

However, personally, my security system consists of moving to the Virginia Piedmont countryside, where 90% of your neighbours are better armed than any intruder could possibly be.
