Default wierd clutch action on start-up

I've got a wierd deal with my clutch when starting up (96 gsr). If i push the pedal all the way to the floor, the car won't start, turn over, or make any noise (though the electronics still work). However, if i release it up just about half an inch, it starts up no problem.
Not really a big problem, just a pain in the butt. Any input appreciated, thanks in advance.

Sounds like a problem in the switch the clutch trips when pushed in. You might investigate that and see if you can adjust the position of the switch.
