clutch pedal/sticking
I was driving my car around today, and i noticed that my clutch pedal seemed to be a little sticky. when i depress it, it just feels a tad harder to push down, and not as smooth. I dont believe it had anythign to do with the actualy clutch since i only have 50,000 miles on it, and it catches jsut fine and never slips. Any suggestions on fixing this?
What's your clutch master cylinder reservoir looking like? Adequate brake fluid? Look down in the footwell against the firewall, do you see any signs of leakage? Reach up where the clutch master cylinder comes through the firewall. Feel around for any leaks, which is a common problem among Integras.
Generally speaking when the clutch pedal starts feeling weird, one of the hydraulic cylinders is going bad. However, like any hydraulic system it could simply be an issue of not enough fluid or air in the lines.
