Tanabe RM = crazy loud. I would stay away from Tanabe altogether to be honest.

What youre describing is exactly what you would get with an Apex'i WS. Pretty quiet, not annoying while cruising, deep, not rattly or raspy at ALL, and sounds great @ WOT. Get the WS.

If the WS isnt loud enough for you, the Evo is the next step up. A bit more raspy, and louder all around.

hey man after going from two universal mufflers, 5 zigen fireball, tanabe hm, they both suck, but i finally got the greddy sp full catback system, this baby sounds great, with my 00 gsr, nice and quiet deep sound,no raspy , obnoxious noice, it sounds to me better than the greddy evo, my bro has greddy evo and it sounds, good but to me the greddy sp sounds very clean with my gsr i recommend you greddy sp full catback , it fits perfectly

Personally I think the GReddy EVO looks stupid.

I also would stay away from any exhaust that doesn't have stainless pipes (i.e. the A'PEXi WS).

The GReddy SP2 and Tanabe Super Hyper Medallion are made completely out of stainless, have normal looking mufflers, and sound like you want them to.

I have a Tsudo N1 and it seems to be a bit loud on the inside, but outside of the car, it's quite average for an aftermarket exhaust. Cheap too, at $260 shipped.

PS: to combat t3h loudness, I dynamatted my trunk with the extreme stuff. nice and average now.
