Have them buy you a new CF hood. They should have followed the customers directions

 

u should complain even if u like it. u specifically told them not too paint it and they did. dont be scared. u might get a discount or a new hood. u might also regret one day that u didnt complain. thats my opinion.

any reduction in weight is a good reduction... unless its a needed part then that sucks!

 

i took my rear seats and spare tire out today too just so i wouldn't be mad about painted sleeper hood

not to bring this back from dead but... my friend who works at a shop is loaning me his civic si and taking my integra tomorrow morning. His shop is going to see if he can strip the paint back to carbonfiber.. If anything goes wrong i suppose they can just repaint it. Think it'll work?

I wouldn't want any chemicals that could be used to strip paint on a CF hood.... I'd make them buy me a new one.
