I have Brembo blanks and Axxis Metal Master pads on the fronts of my GSR and am very satisfied. I would also look to upgrade to stainless steel brake lines as well since you are doing all this work.

We sell the oem replacement rotors here at napa for less than $80 with tax. I'd probably spend the extra $20 and get the brembo blanks.

I went ahead and picked up 4 OE Brembo blanks and some Axxis Ultimate pads for $209 shipped (for everything) off of a place on GBC.

They should all be here within a week.

Thanks a lot for all the input everyone!!! I'll be getting steel braided lines as well from that local shop.

I just did rotor replacement ft/rr with Brembo X-drill/slotted. If you remember my OEM's were crazy warpped! Spent $80/$55 for the set and very pleased with them. they look great, stop the car great, and wont worry about the rusting like OEM.

I have Powerstop Slot rotors and Axxis Metalmashers all around. I experience no brake fade or brake pulsing. I love the set up. I also have Goodridge Stainless steel brakelines.

I would recommend against cross-drilled or slotted rotors only because they acutally remove usable surface area from the disk, and you will honestly not be able to tell enough of a difference with most normal driving. I recently got new brembo blanks (stocks ones were really warped) on the front and kept the OEM rear discs and got a set of Axxis MetalMasters all the way around. I definately agree with Drumsy in regards to spending the money on good pads ebcause that is where you will feel the most difference. Pedal feel is excellent and there is most definately a noticeable difference in stopping power. IMO..get the best pads you can. If you HAVE to get new rotors, then do so, but don't spend the $$ on those. Check out www.importrp.com for pads and rotors. That's where I got mine from. Awesome price and very fast shipping.

Anyone know if the Axxis Ultimates or the MetalMasters perform better with the Brembo blank rotors? Importrp sold out on the Ultimates and I need new pads soon. Should I wait till March for their shipment or go with the MetalMasters? It is for daily driving only along with stock brake lines.
