Default Radiator?!?

I drive a 94 LS and my radiator's seal on the top is leaking, not to bad, but enough to bother me. I was wondering if an aftermarket radiator is better then just buying a stock replacement.

It may be "better" but are you ever going to see the benefits of the upgrade? What kind of driving do you do?

For most people and driving situations, the stock radiator works fine. If the difference in whats available to you in terms of $ is what you consider a lot, then I would just stay stock.

Try Radiator Barn . You can get a replacement radiator for about $100 shipped.

Almost all replacements are plastic cores with aluminum elements... hell, even OE is plastic with metal elements...

I bought a cheapo radiator for $95 shipped with a lifetime warranty. If it breaks, I can just head to any store radiators.com contracts through and pickup a new radiator free of charge...

Sure I coulda bought an all aluminum radiator, but it would have been 4 times the price for something I don't really need...
