Default Tire poll

Trying to choose tires for 16x7" rims. What do you guys thinkl ... here are the choices I'm looking at. I'm looking for something with decent traction for the odd autox days, but also isnt' too noisy with a decent tread life. Let me know what you think...
Also, for a DC2 ... what do you guys prefer ... 205/40/16 or 205/45/16?

Multiple choice enabled, you can choose a tire size as well as a tire brand

I had a 205/45/16 and I think that is generally recommended by most people.

I had kumho ecsta 712 - 205/45/16 . . . sooooo much better than stock. The only thing is that they were worn out after 15k. I expected to get a lot more mileage out of them. Now I have Parada Spec 2 same size. I only have about 500 miles on them and just about all of them are in the rain. It rains a lot here. They aren't bad in the rain. The kumho was better. I'm hoping they are going to be a lot stickier than the kumho in the dry.

Falken ... I had those once the ziex. I actually liked them because the sidewall was really easy to clean. Tried 712s too, didn't like em because theyve got those little grooves that like to collect dirt. Sure ... its a ricy reason, but I like a clean tire

So far ... looks like the ES100 is winning, thats the tire I was leaning towards anyways. Anyone know if they have those little grooves like the 712s? If they do I just might get another set of Falkens HA

I have the Spec-II's in 205/45/16 and I don't have a problem with it. I'd recommend them.
