does gsr have rev limiter?
i have a 95 GSR. does that have a rev limiter or fuel cut off? i used to have a 96 Honda Accord Lx (manual) and it had no rev limiter, just fuel cut off at about 6900 rpms.
If your car is at warm operating temperature, and u hit the rev limiter at 8200-8400 rpm, what could possibly go wrong? I hit the rev limiter in 2nd gear yesterday, being retarded and not payin attention to the tach, car runs just like normal, anything i should be worried about? 50k on engine
Nothing will go wrong because you hit rev limit (within reason on a stock engine) besides the accellerated wear caused by being at that high of an RPM.
Unless, of course, you hold it for a while. That could result in oil starvation and a spun rod bearing and the like.

An engine wears faster at high RPM.
Imagine sanding a peice of wood, rubbing it once a second with the sandpaper.
Now imagine rubbing that peice of wood seven times a second with the sandpaper.
The wood wears down faster when you sand it faster, right? Same general idea with the friction surfaces inside of your engine, but a lot slower. An engine ran at a constant 1k RPM will outlast an engine running a constant 7k RPM, ignoring things like oil starvation and carbon buildup.

and no, there is no "easy" way to raise it.
