is the type r integra a straight cut gear box!!!!!!!

Nope.

Applications like that are very rare in a street car. Entirely unnecessary even in a track environment, in most cases.

hmm honda dealers say they are, but then again when i first spoke to them they said who made the integra. Thanks for the reply.

OEM ITR gearboxes do not have straight cut gears, although you might find an aftermarket custom drag gearbox with straight cut gears.

Tell your dealer they're goobers.

If you can talk to people while driving, the gears are not straight cut.
Dealers are such lying pieces of sh!t.

hmph. Anyways, no current honda automobiles use straight cut gears.

Don't believe everything you read/hear. There is a lot of misinformation out there ... a lot of the time people on boards like HAN know more than some of the people that work at dealerships.
