Just replaced whole distributor due to hard starting and a faulty coil. I noticed when I put the new cap on the new distributor, I had to push it in towards the distributor to tighten down the three screws (mild spring tension). Just wondering if everyone elses always do that, or if it possibly contributed to the failure of my coil and maybe was the problem behind the starting problem. Might be a dumb question, but figured i would ask anyways.
