Default Headlights

I'm looking for some specific info on the bulbs in my headlights.
I obviously don't have the owner's manual, just a Helm's.
I have a 92 LS, 100% stock and was looking to replace the original bulbs
with something that would hopefully increase overall vision or light
projection as I drive at night. What would be safe to use? I was in Pepboys
the other night and was looking at bulbs with numbers like 9005, 9006 etc.

Any help is greatly appreciated. I'm a newbie. :a:

PIAA is definitely the way to go. you can order them online. if you want better piaas, order them straight from japan. piaa from here are $80, jdm piaas are $110. it's definitely worth the extra money. now, these bulbs aren't going to last quite as long as stock bulbs because the watts are higher, but if want a good looking brighter bulb, you have no choice. by the way, 9005 are the high beams, 9006 are low beams. good luck.

i would get the sylvania silverstars .. its 20 bucks a bulb... there is a way to do the "9005 conversion" which you can modify your high beam bulbs to fit in your low beam sockets.. fairly easy to do..

As a matter of fact I just did a 9005 conversion this AM. I have piaa 9005 xtreme white and one bulb went bad. I sent them back last week and got new ones yesterday. Did the 9005 conversion again and I'm a happy man once more.

Will the Silverstar's really be a big difference in comparison to my stock bulbs?
