i cant believe ure up in el monte and have never seen subzeros..
I know what you mean by saying that black rims in general can look like steelies but with the sub zero's the spokes are thin enough to see the brake rotor at some angles so that's what makes them look good while staying black.
If you really not sure and still want to make it look good, then just get gunmetal rims. They look just as good if not better. (Once the brake dust builds up you'll get the black. hehe)
And if you're living in s. cali and haven't seen the sub zero's, you haven't been outside very often have you?
