"Nothing succeeds like excess" its even in your signature. I was just testing the limits of my car, as it seems like most on this thread have. This is not something i will be doing daily, and i am well aware that excessive speed is dangerous but i figured im throwing all this money in my car, might as well have fun with it.

205/50/15's should give a +1.6% reading.

you were probobly more along 128-133ish. The thing is that speedo's are terribly innacurate after 90mph. If you change the wheel/tire size, that number goes way way off.

I did 140 on my way Vegas and almost shit myself. You have some guts to burry the speedometer like that. :bigok: Sounds fun though.

So long as you're prepared to deal with the consequences, then fine.
I've had my experience with the law and that kind of speed myself.
It wasn't pleasant.

I'm not looking to bust anyone's balls -- and I'm sorry if I gave that impression earlier.

you dont know the absolute limits until you pass them, and sometimes you dont know them until you pass them several times. i know this from racing my quad.
