Um, I don't know, maybe when I replace my e-brake handle I will do that, I don't think it's that bad...but that's just my opinion .

i had shift boot gap like that before, then fixed it so it's like this (now its just a TAD bit higher):

I bet the only work you did was watch Chase.. You couldn't pay chanc to get his hand dirty. h::fawk:

I think what happened was that he ripped the dust boot when he pulled it back onto the shifter, and he didn't set the ball seat into the boot. I don't think he greased it up either. The rip either dried it out and it kinda seized to the ball on the shifter. Pretty crazy though, I was way surprised when I pulled it out.

You should feel it now though .

yay, chanc got rid of his funky feeling in his shifter..... :awais:

i told u it was an abnormal feeling. I'm sure your shifter feels exactly the same as mine now.
