Default Idleing problems?

I went to start my car 1994 integra ls the other morning and when i started it, it reved to about 2 rpms and then dropped to 1 then bounced from 1 to 2.5rpms and just keeps going like the energizer bunny......if i disconnect the air sensor on top of the throttle body it drops in rpms then when i plug it back in it stay about 1.5 rpms..making my check engine lights come on....(light is not on till i unplug the sensor) could it be a bad sensor or worse? I also checked to make sure my value cover gasket wasnt leaking oil into the plugs, thought that might have been the problem in the first place...................any help would be great

-Check if your PCV valve is disconnected
-Check the tension on your throttle cable
-Check all your vaccum lines

It could be your fast idle valve. I broke mine while installing the intake. I went to the junkyard to get another one but i guess it's broken as well. Try changing that. I've heard of others having the same problem. Hope this helps!
