Default Tranny question

For some reason, my tranny is kinda hard to shift into certain gears....especially to downshift from 4th to 3rd gear. Anybody know what the problem could be? Clutch going out? not to sure, ive had the car about 2100 miles now, since ive bought it. total of 121000 on the car, so clutch goin out? Hopefully not the tranny. Well if anybody can help me out that would be awesome.

Thanks
-Jason

I would say its the clutch, replace thats and see if that fixes the problem. If it doesn't fix it then its the synchro thats going out. From the sound of it I would say its the clutch though.

Synchro's are not cheap to replace in the tranny. I would look into an ACT clutch instead of a stock replacement. I have an ACT 6 puck and love it even though its a bit harsh for the street.

I had the stock clutch replaced and had the flywheel machined for about $650 total.

did you check the levels fluid or have you done a fluid change in awhile? New clutch fluid and tranny fluid makes a world of a difference.
