some of the guys actually went through with the removal of the OEM one, and replaced it with the s2000, and they said reception wasnt that good.

if i'm not mistaken, after 99, all the sedans had the integrated antenna in the rear windshield.

WiLL, the antenna is near the top center, off set to the right a little.

First, if you have an intenal antenna I think it would be silly of you to put a hole in your car for an external antenna.

Second, I went to Honda about the antenna's and it's a lot of money $100+ if you want the whole unit including the amplifier.

Third, if you simply get the antenna and not the whole unit with the amplifier you will have a drastic reduction in receptioin.



I say eff the antenna, spend your time and money elsewhere.

huh.. mine definitely got worse.. i had to rig in a home theater antenna to get it close to stock.

i heard the reception depends on your area... if you live in a place with a lot of large bldgs etc then you can expect a reduction - someplace more open, you probably wont notice... id like to get the s2k antenna myself but its not on the top of my list... did they make window antennas for 2 doors?
