Hey, I'm benefitting from this too, pokin' around under my hood lookin' at shit, without having to get my hands dirty :naughty: .

Yeah, I know it's bogus; what's with that on the w. pump housing?: one fitting's the sensor, another to be the "sender"(?)

So, did you have to remove that coolant hose, or did you bend it out of the way?

ECT sensor (2 wires) is for the ECU. The temperature sender (1 wire) is for the factory dashboard gauge. They don't 'share' information.
