Default Well, finally decided on an exhaust

After a couple weeks of going back and forth on deciding what kind of exhaust to get, I went ahead and ordered the RS-R Ex Mag system. I got it for 480 shipped, placed the order today and had it sent to my work in case it arrives while I'm on vacation.

I figured that since I'm already going with the low-down/low look with the intake (comptech filter, minus the resonator box), I really don't want to be noticed with a loud and large exhaust.

I'm happy with my decision, and just thought I would share the news with the board.

Pics/Sound will be up when it arrives, but I leave for the homeland, Iceland, in two days, so if it does arrive early, you won't hear/see it until the 5th of Jan.

Thanks to those who helped me out, if not knowingly, on making my choice clear.

Merry Xmas and Happy New Year!

I ordered from Driftspeed. They have some good prices, and, so it seems with exhaust, the shipping was included in the price listed.

There was some minor confusion in the process, brought about by me, because I thought I had them ship it to my house, but it turns out I was smart and had it sent to my work, in case it arrived while I was away.

Anyways, I'm happy with my decision, and can't wait for it to arrive.

I'll see you all in 2004, unless I can get access overseas.

Very good call. Awesome exhaust. If it were fully stainless I would buy it in a heartbeat...but alas, its not.

Oh, it is 100% certianly full stainless steel. It is ceramic coated is all. Only the tip has the polished stainless look, but rest assured, the entire system is stainless.

"ExMag features
- quietest exhaust note on the market (most applications)
- refined stealth like appearance
- ceramic coated mandrel bent piping
- dyno proven gains in horsepower and torque
- engineered in Japan
- signature RS-R exhaust tip
- constructed with 409 stainless steel for long life"

Sorry if it's overkill, but I have to vent my frustration with people saying it isn't stainless.

No offense was meant, simply trying to get the point/facts across.
