Default jdm type-r headlights, reinstallation..

i have a 99 integra that had front end damage and was "fixed" by a mickey mouse body shop. i want to correct the problems with it..

so, my question is, what modifications need to be made to a stock integra gs-r (besides body kit) to make jdm type-r headlights mount properly. do i need to modify the front bumper reinforcement or do any welding / modifying of the frame at all ?

do jdm type-r headlights mount to the same place that stock lights do ?

In order to use the JDM foglights you need to do the JDM conversion. Radiator support, rebar, front 1/4 panels, bumper, hood, headlights, grill, and yes with the new radiator support the JDM lights will fit perfectly...you will need to do some splicing of wires to get them to work though.

Oh and welcome to HAN:wave:

You need this...

And I suggest you do a search here, on Honda-tech, and on team-integra on what is involved in doing a JDM ITR conversion.

Default question

is it pretty rare that a certain itr conversion kit (aftermarket) would not be compatible with the jdm itr radiator support ?

If an aftermarket ITR conversion kit is not compatable with the JDM radiator support it is probably junk and not worth your time & money.

A complete JDM kit sells for around $2,000.
