i dont think you followed, it was completely in the way they said no they can't.

 

First off he's not in California so he's not subject to CARB rules.

The simplest way to get the header to fit the rest of the exhaust is to call up LandSpeed racing and order a cat that is designed to bolt into your car with whatever given header and exhaust you have. They make everything to fit.

Otherwise if you want to have the muffler shop do it, get a universal Carsound cat with 2.5" inlet and outlet and have the proper flanges welded on to it to mate up to the header and exhaust.

 

this shop told me that if i get e-checked ill be Fkd so i better get a 3way cat or something so it gets all of the emissions so i can pass...

 

What year is your car? As long as you're running a cat and your oxygen sensor (or sensors if it's '96 or newer) has somewhere on the cat to screw into, then you will pass a tailpipe emissions test.

 

sounds good has a spot to screw the oxy sensor in

 

heh in NJ they dont even do the tail pipe test anymore on 96+

they just passed a brand new law they hook ur car up to this computer and check for any codes at all and if one pops up you fail. its gonna be a bitch to pass inspection here now
