are vtec timers worth the money and do they actually make a differnece?

i think you mean vtec controllers. and they're only worth it once you've upgraded the cams and other controllers.

If you have changed your cams or have a turbo, then yes. Otherwise it is just a tuning tool and can't do much of anything for a close-to-stock motor.
