Default Steering Wheel Install Help Please!

i comitted my first ricer sin and bought an aftermarket steering wheel. (at least it's momo and clean looking) i got the momo adapter hub off a guy so i didn't get the installation instructions. it appears that i have to remove the SRS cable assembly that is behind the stock steering wheel to install the momo hub. what is the function of that assembly and what kinds of consequences will it have? also, there are wires on the momo hub that don't really correspond in an obvious way to any of the stock wiring. has anybody installed a momo on their integra? if so, any kind of help will be greatly appreciated. thanks.

The SRS main harness is what triggers your airbags. You must disconnect it to disable your airbag, so it can be removed. You will of course lose the airbags with the new steering wheel.

i saw to disconnect the SRS assembly that there is one plug, and the other seems to not be removable. do i have to cut those wires, or is there a way to unplug it?
