Default light weight pulleys

I heard light weight pullys damage engine. Is this true? Are there any more brands better than an others? Do you gain anthing by putting them on? I would like to know before buying a set any info would be grat thanks. mech

I've heard that the gains are minimal, and personally, I wouldn't risk ruining my engine for the few hp that it may give.

The A/C and Power steering provide little to no gains, and the lightweight crank can throw off the harmonic balancer and cause serious engine damage. I would stay away from them.
