The only civics I would consider a "Sports Car" would be the 99+ Si... But beyond that, the Integra is much more nimble than just about every civic except for the new Si....

I haven't driven the new Si, so I can't comment on that car's roadfeel directly

I revoke my statement. The Miata is the poor man's sportscar. We are still limited by FWD.

Very true, but the only place I would want to drive a Miata would be on the Auto-X course... The Miata is a sportier drive, yes, but the Integra is overall more practical (Like decent cargo space, etc)...

Thus, the Integra is the poor mans sport car, because a poor man can only afford one good car to do most everything he needs... a Miata doesn't foot that bill

18k new for my 99'..I don't think a "poor man" could aford that. This has been the best damn car I have ever owned. I think the Ford ZX2 or a suped up Neon would best fit the catagory for a "poor mans" FWD sports car. IMO

Compared to this, it's a poor mans sports car. Period.
