I just ran into the same problem today... disconnected my battery and now it wants the radio code. I bought the car used and it didn't have the owner's manual or the radio code. What can I do to get the code? And is there any other way to get the code by not taking the radio out and looking at the serial #? Thanks.

Damn! I saw the sticker on the bottom of the HU and the words "serial #" but the numbers are printed faintly and it is upside down when I see it. Only my left eye can see the blur since I'm looking from my driver's side. I will try again tomorrow morning! If I am able to get the serial # off the radio, will I still need to show the dealers the actual HU?? Hopefully not...

I have a similar problem. In PR the only Acura dealer available charges $85 even if I bring the radio removed. If not they will charge additionally for removing the darn radio.
