Default jdm climate control in dc4

how hard is it to put a jdm itr climate control into a 95 dc4? is it just a direct swap, or are there other parts? thx.



i was thinking about buying this one.

I believe it involves grafting the JDM face plate onto the actual USDM control unit.

But the question is...why bother?

umm not sure how it would fit...i bought a jdm climate control from a dc2 and it was a direct fit into my teg. if it doesnt work, you could always sell it

I believe it fits right in. Spec R has that same one in his DB.

I dont think any of the JDM ITR's had the Auto settings...they had the same parts as the USDM ITR's.

You're going to have to take out all the internals of the JDM one, and replace them with the internals of the USDM one. Its kinda tricky if you dont know what goes where, but its not that hard. Before you put it in, connect it (its a biatch because the harness cables are so short) to see if everything works and all the bulbs light up. Good luck.
