which header do you like?
i'm already sold on DC sports because of its pricing and reliability.
i'm just wondering which application you like.
a.) 4-1 and why?
b.) 4-2-1 and why?
thanks h:

4-2-1 increases torque in mid range RPMs mostly and 4-1 increases torque in the high end RPMs mostly.
If you're just looking for numbers then 4-1 would give you a bigger increase in horsepower since the torque gain is higher in the RPMs.
Both are good.
You should probably go with 4-1 if you frequently visit redline, or 4-2-1 if you want the power increase to be there without having to push your car that hard.
I myself have a DC SS 4-2-1 header.
P.S. Someone tell me if I'm way off here, I don't like giving people misinformation

naah ur right. i have a 4-1 and it got a little more torque down low(i can chirp at 4 if i want, though i never do) and up high it is just amazing. You will feel more power up top. I haven't driven a car with 4-2-1 so i dont know what thats like

Chirping tires = nothing to do with power...especially the difference made from a header.
Your first mistake is saying youve already chosen DC for their "quality." Their quality is the reason I would NOT choose them. Go with Apex'i, Comptech, JDM 4-1, etc...DC sucks.
The brand is more important than the 4-1/4-2-1, if you ask me.

well hell, dc can not be that bad if they are still as popular as they are. If you want to go out and spend the money on something like a comptech or anything along those lines then why not just say that they are crap and go with a hytech or how ever you spell it. I do not see that big of a deal with there being a difference in the brand of a regular header unless you are supercharged. Before you get pissed about all of this why does dc suck. I am a dc fan by the way i got the cc 4-1 and there is some torque down low but it drops in the mid and really picks up good up high.
