Default Upper Balljoints

ok, so what has everybody done when the time to replace upper balljoints rolls/rolled around?
i understand that acura only sells the upper control arm! but also realize that the balljoint CAN be replaced-just wondering what everybody else did.

also, as for lower balljoints- what do we do for those? oem? moog? whats the best.

havent done too much looking into this aside from a few searches-so hopefully someone can give me some good information!

bottom ball joint can be replaced. moog works fine.

for the top you'll need the oem arms. you can press the old worn out joints out, but i don't know who makes replacements.

bet bet is this:

upper balljoint: replace the upper a arm
steering endlinks: replace endlinks
bottom balljoint: replace with either oem or cheap aftermarket pieces
both work fine.

Yeah skunk2 sells replacement A-arms that have adjustable ball joints which allow you to adjust the camber. Not sure what the price difference between those and OEM is though.

Those are control arm bushings, not new ball joints.

If you buy a camber kit like the skunk2 that includes the entire control arm then it will come with bushings. Most camber kits are adjustable "bolts" that go in place of the bushings and allow you to change the distance between the control arm and the body of the car.
