HEY GUYS.....I took off my iacv, cleaned it real good w/ carb cleaner...and put it back still no go...So only thing i can think of is to just buy another one? I dont want to spend the 180$ if its not going to work tho lol...So what are the other possibilities it could be? No vac. leak or nothing stupid is wrong w/ it. Someone please lemmie know before tomorrow around noon is when imma go buy it :)

Did you have a look at that fast idle trouble shooting
guide on g2ic.com something in there might help you.

I'd give that a shot before spending the money...

Did you replace the o ring(s) after you cleaned the valve?

Were the o-rings damaged?

Not a big deal if you dont replace them with new ones.

My b16 in my civic is doing the same thing. I had an extra one so I cleaned it and put it on with the new gasket (o-ring) which you have to buy from a dealer becuase it isn't like a regular o-ring. Anyway, after I changed mine, the idle was still weird. But, it wasn't the same way, this time it just idles up and down but way faster than before. hrmm. I guess I'll have to keep playing with it.
