Signs to change the manual transmission fluids?
I am at 77 000 miles, and I doubt I ever changed it :/ or maybe once.
Recently I had some probs with the shift, for example I would engage it in first from neutral and the stick would be kinda rough, and in position, the car would move (still in neutral). I have to engage in 2nd, then in 1st to get it moving.
The same problem persist when engaring in R as well.
I am about to change the transmission fluids, but can it be another problem to check out?

Under severe driving conditions, Honda recommends you change your transmission oil every 30,000 miles. Under normal conditions, every 90,000. The only MTF I would recommend for our transmissions would be either OEM Honda or Redline.

Amazing as it may seem, Honda used to recommend plain old 10W30 motor oil for use in their manual transmissions. Says it right there in my 1993 Integra Helms manual. That's all "MT fluid" really is--oil. Red Line MTL and Honda MTF are oils with the same viscosity as 10W30 motor oil but with specific additives to help with use as a gear oil instead of a motor oil. They're still basically oil though. Red Line is a synthetic and I'm not sure what the Honda stuff is.
