I have one on my GS-R. It sounds great. I don't see why anyone would have a problem with the actual tone of the exhaust, but yes it is quite loud. If you want something quiet then don't buy the skunk2.

Although it's loud like I said, they must have tuned it to cancel out the resonation when a certain amount of throttle is engaged. I find that once I'm up to speed on the streets or freeway I can apply just a small amount of pressure to the pedal to keep the car going and the exhaust becomes all but silent.

Because it's really freakin loud and not all of us want our little 4-banger Hondas that at best run in the mid 14s to sound like that.
