Default c-pillar bars

so i was browsing ebay the other day and someone was selling a c-pillar bar to go above the rear passengers heads kinda like a inside cabin strut brace... do these actually do anything?

the frame is susceptible to flexing there because of the big area the hatch has to fill, so yes, as dvp said, they work.

Once you install though, I would recommend not carrying any passengers in your rear seats, as they will be succeptable to hitting their heads, and in the even of an accident, suffer serious head trauma.

^ yup, if you don't want your rear passengers' heads exploding like pumpkins in sudden braking or bumpy roads you can:

1) put nerf padding around the bar (not really effective
2) quick release feature

Mine came in the other day and i noticed there's hardly any creaking coming from the rear now

Given the safety concerns I would only go for one of these after installing a more traditional rear strut tower bar.
