Default Trap Speeds

On average what would a 99 GSR with full interior trap with CAI/Header/Catback/Underdrive Pulleys/Cam Gears. Just a "about" number is fine.

I trapped 90.22 and I ran a 15.788 :ugh:. My tires/wheels suck :happysad:. That was at 2800ft too, I should be able to run a lot better. I had a bunch of junk in my car too.

I have Iceman CAI, Comptech Header, Comptech Cat-Back, B&M Short Shifter.

Wow...barely trapping 90. I will have to cut a serious 60 ft to get into the 14's with that trap.

A trap speed is the the MPH your at when you cross the lights at the end of the 1/4 mile. 1/4 mile times are driver dependent while trap speeds are solely based on the power the car is making. You can cut a terrible 60ft and run a crap ET (quarter time) but still be within a MPH or so of your average trap. If you need anything explained further I am happy to help.

meaning you can finish the quarter in 15 flat and then again at 14.4 and still finish at relatively the same speed? Makes a little sense. Not sure how but then again I never really got into doing the 1/4. I am pretty partial to autoXing
