Default b16a3

Is this motor from a 99-00 Civic SI? I bought a INtegra Gs-r and found this in the engine bay. Paid $5,500 for the car and the car was salvaged, do you guys think it was worth it? Does the b16a3 use unleaded gasoline or does it use the premium that the GS-R requires?

Premium gas. I believe the A3 is also from the Del Sol. I think the 99-00 Si was A2.

B16A3= 94-97 Del Sol like they said. It wont be as fast as it was originally with the B18C1. To Compare
B18C1-170hp 128lb-ft torque
B16A3-160hp 111lb-ft torque

I also wonder what transmission you have. If you have a GSR transmission it will be slower yet. Chances are they just swapped an entire del sol drivetrain with a B16 trans. with the shorter ratios.

I belive they did, I also thought the GSr had shor ratios also? Snoopy, $5,500 is too much for a GSR? where do you live man? How much can you get one with about 61k miles for?

In arizona the Average price for a 60k miles GS-R is from 13k-15k.
a 7grand Gs-r would have a lil over 100k miles.
