flywheel question
I'm in the process of buying an ACT XACT PRO LITE 8.8lb flywheel, however I'm not sure if it's safe to use on my daily driven integra. Anyone using this flywheel or anything lighter on a daily driver? Should I go with a slightly heavier flywheel to be safe?
I drive with a 9lb Fidanza flywheel. Other than the decrease in rotating mass and the added benefits of reclaiming loss power due to drivetrain loss, those are the only effects you were see. I have nothing negative to say about my flywheel, only positive!
now hold on...are you going turbo or staying NA? Turbo motors don't like lightweight flywheels because it doesn't give the turbo much spool time because of quicker gear shifting. NA cars on the other hand will benefit.
