Default Stock GSR whp

Well As you know I wrecked my car and I am going to sell it when I get it back from the shop, my payment are to much every much. Well on to the reason I started this thread.

I wanted to know how much whp and wtq my gsr has so I can compare to the car I will be purchasing.

I am going to purchase this civic hatch with an sir II motor and it has 153 whp and 103 wtq. I have never been a fan of 1.6 liters beacuse they seem to never compare to a 1.8. I think I might sell this motor and put in a gsr if it is really a difference.

Thanks:thumbup:

Look for an average of 145-150hp to the wheels.

I agree. Stock 145-150. With I/H/E 155-160 depending on quality of mods.

Do you have a high flow cat? I think that'll give you a nice boost in your numbers

Thats good to know, the civic will be as fast if not fater than my GSR. I still don't like b16's though.

I've seen GSR Motors dyno at 164whp. I wouldn't swap that motor out for a gsr.

i had mine done on a mustang dynamometer and they said it is one of the best dynos out there. and that others may give you higher numbers b/c of how they are set up. im not a dyno pro so dont tell me that im wrong or anything, thats just what these guys told me and they went to school and trained for this stuff. sorry to ramble
