Default blow off valve

i love the sound of a blow off valve, i don't have the cash for a turbo kit, but my cousin was telling me that you can put a makeshift blow off valve on the intake, he said it won't sound as loud, but it will still make that noise, is he full of Sh*t or is this true?

You won't have enough manifold pressure to even activate the blow-off valve. Oh and be prepared to be clowned left and right when you pop your hood for others to look at.

theres a japanese kit thats wired up to your ecu, and goes off based off of various signals going to your ecu (partial/full throttle/throttle position). theres even a siren/horn that you can set to your liking. its good for enthusiasts like yourself.
