Default YEA DREAMTHEATER

nice door

saw this thread and had to say something, being who i am and all

the prelude is heavier than an integra but in some situations it will outperform the teg on the track, its also faster than the teg, despite what some of you believe
btw im only talking about the cream of the crop DOHC VTEC trims on both cars

the 4g prelude VTEC has crazy brakes and a crazy suspension for an early 90's car, not to mention the HP and torque no other car in its class touches it for its model years, the eclipse is close but no cigar on handling

overall i think on a track the 4g vtec lude would take a vtec teggy from the same era.

YEA CLICKWIR - DREAMTHEATER :goodjob:

thats some ridiculous stuff

If I could have tracked down a 4th gen Prelude VTEC with lower then 60K miles, I would have surely been seated in one. Alas, the only ones I could locate were riddled with high mileage.

I first heard them in a 97 Monte Carlo lol and it was for just a little bit, i later remembered them, and asked my friend what they were called, then I downloaded a song and listened, and got hooked, I especially love the "Scenes from a Memory" album, genious peice of work.

And to justify my posting lol, I just about bought a prelude, but when i was going to look at it some one beat me to it! lol but thats ok I love my teg.

Well I must say... again I would take the Prelude. Now, keep in mind I've only ever driven a 93 Integra, they might be better now. :dunno:

BUT.... I recently had the chance to drive a 92 Prelude Si Stick. Had a short shifter, AEM CAI, DC Header/catback, lowered, 17 or 18" rims, low profile tires, and some kind of double or twin clutch? Dunno what kinda clutch... but it was DAMN SWEET. I'm still new to stick, so I didn't bring out it's full potential but I still thought it was 5 times better than my Prelude. My brother took me for a ride in it and is a much better manual driver than me, damn that car can MOVE!!! I was so excited at the time, I didn't really time it... but we were crusing at about 30mph.... he took it up to about 90mph in what seemed like 2 seconds. He said there was "engine work" but he's not really sure... but damn... that thing, wow. That thing was fast.

ludeboom, when I sell the Integra and the Prelude and get a manual prelude... I will definalty be coming to you for a new H22/tranny.

On a side note, Dream Theater kicks ass!! I got their new album. Mp3. :rick:
