Do you ever feel as if you should have went with a Prelude?
i could have had one almost, since they were practically giving them away in their last years...but even then it was still too expensive. and besides, preludes dont have 4 door models.
and no, accords are not 4 door preludes.

Even though they are only inches longer then our Integras, they still feel somewhat cubersome. I personally wasn't satisfied with the sound of the engine during normal and WOT driving. It was too metallic for me. But I sure do appreciate the "touring" ride of the Prelude over my Integra...just wish I could get over those big, bug-eyed headlamps.
I looked at the Lude and Civic Si when I got my GSR. The reason I got the GSR was largely to do with the salespeople at Acura. They were a lot less pushy, and much more friendly than the Honda salesman and I actually got the best lease deal on the GSR. The Si was close but I was trading in my girlfriend's (now wife) Civic EX and I wanted something new.
That said I really think I made the best decision and this is almost 4 years later. I love how my GSR is light and nimble. The power is good, the mods plentiful, and the possibilities are endless with the B18C1 engine. I would like an H22A in my wife's Accord though

There's something about the tractability of the H22 motor that is quite appealing, but all of the Preludes I could reasonably afford were:
a) high mileage*
b) ridden hard & put away wet
c) had no service documentation
* NOTE: Also, the majority of these were 4th gens, not 5th gen.
Once I found my LS, and got a quote from my insurance agent, I was sold on the DC4.. literally.

No regrets.

I too was considering the 'Lude. I went with the Integra because of the unique front styling (shades of 911 Porsche) and general body styling evoking a "Japanese 944 Porsche").
Also- the Prelude has what, 8.4 cu. ft of trunkspace. That's an oversize glove box. And speaking of glove boxes, check out the one on the 'lude. It can barely fit the owners manual, let alone a pair of gloves.

I like the look of the preludes, but I feel much more confident driving my Teggy.
If I wanted to get a quick around-town cruiser, I'd get a Prelude.... Though, I want to change my teggy to an Auto-X machine, and a Prelude probably couldn't keep up on a tight track...

i was lookin into preludes after i crashed my first car... one of the ones i looked at was a 95 si i think.... but then i found this integ in pristine condition for a great price.... offer i couldn't pass up. and after owning an integ... i just couldn't see myself in another car... yet
If someone came to my house right now and offered to trade me straight up a stock 93 Prelude VTEC with 78,000 miles (thats how many mine had on it when i totalled it) I wouldnt even have to think twice about it. I would take it in a heart beat. Now if my teg was GSR or ITR. I'd tell him to shine. The teg doesnt seem as cumbersome but at thes ame time the Lude felt more solid and sound in the turns. The lude also had more torque.
