Default Show vs. Go

Alright, what are all your opinions on putting money into your cars appearance or performance?
Performance:
Pros: Go fast, talk shit to people? others?
Cons: Driving faster, being less careful, being over confident in your car, accidents, less motor longetivity. others?

Appearance:
Pros: look nice and clean, people give you compliments, girls. others?
Cons: ricers think your fast and will always try to race you, more expensive to fix if you get into an accident, others?

Shit man, i realized that spending money on your car is a ****in waste, but im still going to waste every penny i make on it probably. Money on performance is pretty much a waste because driving extremely fast on public roads is for fags, you can get places just as quick in a stock civic. Plus, you can't be at the track all the time. Driving fast wont get you anywhere but in a coffin man. Appearance is useless too, just save money and get a car that looks real nice stock.
Cars are a total waste of money. I love my car, but wasting my money on it is retarded? Anyone know what i mean?\

alright im drunk and wanted to make a rant, but what are all of your opinions? Why do you think money should be spent on performance or appearance? Give facts/reasons to support your answer.

i would much prefer to be driving a car that had big money invested into my motor instead of the body and sound system etc, but everyone has there own preference.

I like doing the looks first followed by the go. Having a car that is fast but looks like crap or stock just isn't fun to me. But having a slow fast looking car gets old quick too.

I love everyone saying that my car is so slow and how many other cars can blow the paint right off it.

I mean i like a nice clean looking car.. Like my crx for example.

But the stock 105hp motor didnt cut it.

So it looks stock and if the 'average' person opend up the hood it would look stock because i dont have any super shiny chrome parts or anything. I mean the engine bay is clean free of grease and whatnot.

So when the guy who was told how slow my car is dosent belive me, i take him for a ride and he shits himself cuz hes so scared.

The ONLY place i drive excessively fast is at the strip.

Alot of people dont think my car is fast because it dosent 'look' fast, o well they wake up pretty quick when they see my tailpipe or lose by a second or more at the strip.

Good times.

My personal thought on the matter or at keast the way I'm doing it is first performance enhancing things that get your car noticed or just look good (e.g. intake, exaust and strut bars) than things that look good (e.g. body kits, lights and stereo system0 and last of all performance upgrades, but thats just me
