Default Electrical system shutdown

I've got a problem with my 95 teg. Sometimes when I am driving my car and hit the brakes, the entire electrical system shuts down. This includes the engine any motors and all lights for the car. I can restart the car without any problem at all and start dirving again, until I hit the brakes again. Sometimes it happens once or twice and the goes away for a while, but can't seem to figure out the source of my problem. Any hints?

Not sure if I can figure this one out on my own without taking it to the dealer and spending some bucks!

The only thing i can think of is you got a dead short somewhere. What you gotta do is get a wiring diagram and a multimetre and start looking for any bad connections. Some how, it is causing your car to turn off via the brake lamp switch. Odd but give it a try.
