Hello everyone

A friend wants to sell me a set of used springs and a used Tanabe hyper medallion cat-back. Any thoughts on how safe it would be to buy these two items? Can springs actually go bad?
Would the used exhaust be more likely to sound ricey?
Any input would be greatly appreciated!

 

I bought used springs before. Everything worked out fine, they were like new. Might wanna check em out make sure they're not cracked or cut or anything.
