isn't 14.9 type r turf?

does n e one know the increment of adding horsepower will have on quarter mile time?

say i add 10 hp, how much does that decrease my 1/4 time with no weight reduction mods.

or say i add 25 hp, how much does that decrease my 1/4 time with no weight reduction mods.

whats the ratio?

14.9 with same thing, decent driver and LOTS of TRACTION
Or, 14.9 with crappy traction, great conditions, no real mods, and a good driver (I'm so modest, huh?)

type ARGHHHHs do about 14.7 and lower... i'm not too sure about horsepower ratio, but let me try to pull out my dynamic's book tonight and look.

there is no constant ratio. if you think about it. because the first bit of power is gonna help more then the rest isnt it. dont take it for grantite i am no physics pro.

It's ennis*. And some friends of mine are planning a meet in mid December. It's a Mustang club, but we have all sorts of cars in it. Would you care to join us? It'd be a drive (temple academy dragway... between Waco and Austin) but WELL worth it. Track is nice, get as many runs as you want (one every 10min), and all that... let me know

cool...we're shooting for December 19th. Dallas people caravan down to Waco (meet at I-20 and I-35), and then we all caravan to the track. So about hour and a half to hour and 45 min. trip total. If it works out we SHOULD have 15 cars or so.
